My Seven Photo Story: Boundaries

My inspiration for my seven photo story was 'boundaries'. This idea came from my trip to the edge of West Wales where when walking along the coastal path there were many natural and man-made boundaries.

Reflection

Reflection is a method of learning. This method is used mainly in higher education and can help you when preparing for exams or assignments. When reflecting your work you should consider; any knowledge gaps you may have, how you can improve your learning process, strengths and weaknesses in your learning and your priorities. Ways in which you can reflect on your work is by writing down your reflections. You can do this by making note of them through an online website (using a wiki, blog or journal; when using a journal you should describe the topic but also write your thoughts and feelings about the topic), write it by hand or even save it in a word document. To be able to learn successfully from reflecting your work you must take note of; the things that challenge you, the ways in which you learn most effectively, changes in your motivation or attitude towards your learning, feelings about lecturers and other students and your feelings about your course and your progress. It may also be helpful in your reflection if you list your improvements, make constructive use of lecturer’s feedback, be honest but not too hard on yourself and don’t underestimate your skills.

How Would a Football Website Appeal to Me?

How would a football website appeal to me?

I have been asked to research a topic that does not interest me at all and find a unique angle that would make it appeal to me.
I have decided that for football to appeal to me there would not be league tables and confusing statistics. Instead, the game should be taken less seriously and put into a simpler form. Football would have to be made more exciting in order to be appealing to me as it is very boring to watch a ball being kicked back and forth across a pitch. Also, in order for football to appeal to me; the number of leagues that teams compete in would be cut down, therefore making it easier to understand and easier to keep up with.

My Journey Through Education

I have come to Swansea Metropolitan University from Gowerton Comprehensive school, I studied there for 8 years, completing my GCSE's and A-levels there. I want to study Education studies as I want to become a teacher. This decision was influenced by my mother, as she works in a primary school as a nursery and reception teacher.
